Our History

Tanti's Restaurant was the first Thai restaurant to be opened in Geraldton. Beginning in the 1990's, the owners have changed from generation to generation, passing on the same astounding cuisine.

Should I make a booking beforehand?

It would be much appreciated to make a booking at least a day prior so we are able to prepare and call an appropriate amount of staff.
Walk-ins are accepted. However, if there is over eight people, we will be unable to seat you accordingly. If you make a booking over the phone that we have not confirmed with you then we may not be able to provide you with a table.

Can I have a dine in with a large group of people?

Yes, we have another room available for larger bookings. Please let us know and place a reservation at least a day in advance, especially for a larger group.

Are you licensed?

We are not licensed, but you can bring your own alcohol including wine, beer and other drinks. We provide wine glasses, but there is a corkage fee of $2 per wine glass used. We can also leave drinks in the fridge for you.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, we have high chairs and child-friendly cutlery available. Please let us know if you need these items.

Are you able to do delivery?

We do not deliver currently. In the past, we did deliveries during the height of the pandemic, but have since stopped. This may change in the foreseeable future.

Do you have gluten free options?

In both our take-away and dine in menus, we have marked dishes can be gluten free. Please let us know that you are gluten free so we can cater appropriately to you. Any deep fried item is fried with other items that are not gluten free. This includes satay chicken sticks, which are gluten free themselves

How spicy are your dishes?

At our restaurant, you can decide how spicy you would like your meals to be. This ranges from Mild, Medium, Hot, or even Thai Hot. Our dishes are made as mild or close to mild, so please let us know if you would like it spicier or completely mild.

Do you have vegetarian / vegan options?

Yes, we offer both vegetarian and vegan options. We have dedicated sections in our menus, or you can ask our friendly staff for other dishes that can be made vegetarian or vegan.

Can you cater to those with allergies?

Yes we do, but please let us know in advance before placing an order. If you are uncertain, our staff will be able to direct you to dishes that cater to your allergies. We can also alter our dishes to exclude what you are allergic to.

Can I bring in my own cake?

Yes, we can. We can leave it in the fridge until you need it and provide you with plates, utensils, a cake stand and candles if you would like. Please let us know if you would like for it to be a surprise and who the cake is for.

Can you use ingredients that I bring in?

No, we are unable to use ingredients that you bring in for your meals.
